Getting everything set up...

We've had such a warm spring so far that the ice has gone out early on Gods Lake. The water is also very low, which creates a few more hazards for our boat props. By tomorrow we should have most of our staff on - a few new faces, but several returning staff that we are happy to welcome back.

Opening up the lodge

It's that time of year again...Lee arrived at the lodge 2 days ago. It took a full day to get the phone system back on line, and it took another 12 hours before they could figure out the router had a dead plug on it and THAT was why the computer was fine, but the internet wasn't working. Ain't technology wonderful?

Today we have a bunch of staff coming in. They will have some time to get everything else set up. And I guess I need to pay attention to the blogging stuff. I finally got Lee using Facebook and making some posts, but I guess we have a ways to go on the blogspot.

Water is low this year. Lee promised to take pictures later today. We'll see if that happens! Now that the phone and the internet are running, I can nag him in two different mediums. LOL
